Koffi Hallman

Location: Los Angeles, California (U.S.A.)

Age: 46 years old

Question:  How long have you been writing?

I have been writing since I was 9 years old.

Question:  What was the name of the first book you ever published, and when was it published?

My 2nd novel is entitled "Death of a Thug"

Question:  Was this book published by a publisher; or did you self-publish?

It was self published.

Question:  Tell our readers about this very first book.  (For example:  What was the inspiration for writing it, and what was it about)?

What made me write the book was I was very close to the parties involved and felt the story should be told.

It's a 2-sport phenomenon who has an accident prior to the draft and how his life goes 180 degree from bright lights of professional sports to living in the inner city and unknowingly is at the heart of a plot that involves set ups, drugs, money, power, revenge, and murder; all lives involved become irreparably changed because of the "Death of a Thug".

Question:  Can a person still buy this book?  If so, where?

Is available on Amazon HERE!
You can also purchase it on my website at:
492pubhseinc.com

"Death of a Thug" is the 2017 winner of the Walter MOSELY AWARD for Best African American fiction.

Question:  Any future writing projects in the works?  If so, tell us about it, and any pertinent dates to go with it.

Upcoming projects consists of several series of books:

6 Degrees Of Hustle Series has (11) books totals
10 unrelated stories that each reveal a piece of a puzzle that is the 11th book that ties whole series together

The 1st Body Count is scheduled for Early Summer 2017

The 8 Million Stories series is where we showcase new Authors. Authors are given a light template town name fee inter acting characters & they are free to create stories with in these towns using these people then I tie 1st 10 together then we shut that town down & repeat with a new town

Look for that early spring 2017

I also have a relationship book called
"The Realist Guide To Being Real"
Look for that sometime in 2017 closer to Halloween

Question:  What is the title of your current book, and tell us a little about it.

"Death of a Thug" is the title of my current novel.  It's 482 pages of pure fire and it's to be continued.  It was the 2017 Walter MOSELY AWARD for African American Fiction.  We get our actual award in March of 2017.  It's a fictional work based on true events.

It is a fast paced action-packed blockbuster Thriller.  It is about set ups, revenge, drugs, power, money, and murder.

Last question, if someone comes across this article and reads it, what would you like to tell them about why you think they should try reading your book or books?

I think a person should read this story because it is a detailed, gripping stories that parallels reality and takes the reader to another world.

My writings are like terrorists, they grabs hold of you and throw you in a van and don't release you until the journey is over and immediately you will want more.

Location:  Orlando, Florida (U.S.A.)

Question:  How long have you been writing?

I've been writing stories since the fifth grade. I've only recently started writing for children.

Question:  What was the name of the first book you ever published, and when was it published?

"My Fox Ate My Homework" will be published on November 25, 2016.

Question:  Was this book published by a publisher; or did you self-publish?

This will be published in paperback and on Amazon Kindle.

Question:  Tell our readers about this very first book.  (For example:  What was the inspiration for writing it, and what was it about)?

I envisioned a story about a boy who wanted a dog more than anything in the world but couldn't have one because his mom couldn't afford to feed it.  So how could he have a dog?  I figured he could encounter a fox, but he thought the fox was a dog.  And then I wondered what could be unusual and different about this fox? It could talk!

The actual story turned out to be a bit different, but the boy and talking fox remained.

Question:  Can a person still buy this book?  If so, where?

"My Fox Ate My Homework" is available on Amazon.com and will be available soon at all major bookstores online. You can find all information about this book at my website here:                                        http://www.DavidBlazeBooks.com

Question:  How many total books have you published?

This is my first book.

Question:  List all of your titles =

Question:  Any future writing projects in the works?  If so, tell us about it, and any pertinent dates to go with it.

I am working on two sequels to "My Fox Ate My Homework", expected to be released in 2017.

Question:  What is the title of your current book, and tell us a little about it.

Joe is an eleven-year-old sixth grader who’s just moved from the city to the country. He is threatened by the school bully to do his homework for him. Joe tries to help his mom save the new house they moved into (it was his deceased great-grandma’s house and it’s about to be taken by the IRS). Joe encounters a fox that can walk and talk like humans. They learn from each other, have fun, and get into trouble. Joe learns what friendship is all about.

Last question, if someone comes across this article and reads it, what would you like to tell them about why you think they should try reading your book or books?

I wrote this book not only for entertainment but also to teach kids how to stand up for themselves. No one should ever be bullied and feel powerless. I also want kids to value friendship and learn from each other. That’s really what this book is all about.

Anything else you'd like to add that I didn't ask you, but you would like to share with our readers?

The name David Blaze was envisioned by Timothy David for his son, Zander Blaze, to create a world for him and all children that is fun, safe, enlightening, hilarious, and honest. Wow! That’s awesome!

Blog Writer's Note to Author: Your book sounds like the ideal story for kids to read.  There are times that kids feel alone and your story sounds like one they could probably identify with, especially if they currently have an animal.  Good Luck with your future writing and thank you for the interview.

Location:
Grass Valley, California (U.S.A.)

Question:  How long have you been writing?

I have been writing for about 15 years.

Question:  What was the name of the first book you ever published, and when was it published?

The first book I ever published was titled:  "First, Do No Harm".  It was published in 2003' on Kimble/CreateSpace

Question:  Tell our readers about this very first book.  (For example:  What was the inspiration for writing it, and what was it about)?

My first book, and still my most popular novel, "First, Do No Harm" (First in the Brier Hospital Series) is an accurate portrayal of medicine, its patients, and its practitioners.

Question:  Can a person still buy this book?  If so, where?

Yes, a person can buy this book at amazon here:

Question:  How many total books have you published?

I have published 16 books total.

Question:  List all of your titles

You can view my books on my website at:  http://www.lawrencewgoldmd.com/

Question:  Any future writing projects in the works?  If so, tell us about it, and any pertinent dates to go with it.

I'm waiting for my editor to complete the final review on my 17th book.

Question:  What is the title of your current book, and tell us a little about it.

My newest book is untitled.  It's about genetic engineering, its benefits, and risks.

Last question, if someone comes across this article and reads it, what would you like to tell them about why you think they should try reading your book or books?

All of my novels have received excellent review so readers are enjoying them.  I need to attract more readers.  Medical fiction at its best is dramatic without being campy, exciting without being unrealistic and educational without being pedantic and lade with jargon.

Anything else you'd like to add that I didn't ask you, but you would like to share with our readers?

If you enjoy medical fiction that delivers the goods without insulting your intelligence, try the "Brier Hospital Series".

BLOG WRITER'S NOTE TO AUTHOR:Your book series sound quite fascinating.  I think it's interesting that a medical doctor would write a fictional medical series.  I'm sure it is very realistic since it's been written by an actual doctor.  I'm sure that no reader would ever have to question if what you are writing about is real and believable.  I'm sure there is no doubt about it in this Brier Hospital book series.  Good Luck with your future book and thank you for the interview.

E.S. Hart

Location: (U.S.A.)

Question:  How long have you been writing?

I have been writing ever since I learned how to write.  I always had a vivid imagination growing up and I was always daydreaming about something.

Question:  What was the name of the first book you ever published, and when was it published?

My first book is titled: "The Ugly Side of Paradise" and it was published on September 4, 2016.

Question:  Was this book published by a publisher; or did you self-publish?

I self-published this book.

Question:  Tell our readers about this very first book.  (For example:  What was the inspiration for writing it, and what was it about)?

This book was actually something that I never saw myself writing.  This is in the genre of romance erotica.  Now don't get me wrong, I have always loved writing romance but I never saw me writing an erotica book.  This book actually came from a piece of a dream that I had and I found myself taking notes surrounding what I dreamt and before I knew it I had a book.  So I threw caution to the wind and wrote, "The Ugly Side of Paradise".

Question:  Can a person still buy this book?  If so, where?

Yes, it is still for sale on amazon.

Question:  How many total books have you published?

As of this interview, I have written and self-published two books.

Question:  List all of your titles -

Question:  Any future writing projects in the works?  If so, tell us about it, and any pertinent dates to go with it.

I am currently writing a book titled:  "Love Song to Simone", it is a love story dealing with a backdrop story about a War Veteran and the ugliness of war long after they come home.  I hope to have it published before the year 2016 is over.

Question:  What is the title of your current book, and tell us a little about it.

The book I just published is titled:  "The Shattered Pieces of Shay", the book is a romance novel with a deceptive twist to it.  This book definitely has a lot of twist and turns.

Last question, if someone comes across this article and reads it, what would you like to tell them about why you think they should try reading your book or books?

Well for me, I have always tried to write books that I know I would like to read.  I would like to think I'm not the only one who likes a romance novel with great drama, and a lot of twist and turns.  So if you read one of my books this is the kind of story you will find.

Anything else you'd like to add that I didn't ask you, but you would like to share with our readers?

I have to admit since I am writing in a genre that I don't usually write in that the name E.S. Hart is actually a pen name.  I found out that generally every 6 out of 10 writers who write in the erotica genre usually use a pen name.  I think this is because most people want to be able to write freely in regards to this subject without having anyone look down their nose at them in disbelief that a person could actually write in such a genre. lol

Blog Writer's Note To Author:  I always think it's interesting when a writer has a dream and they find themselves pressed to do a story that is something they wouldn't normally do.  I've heard many authors say that their dreams have often times inspired what they were writing.  I'll check out your books on amazon and thank you for the interview.  Good Luck with your future writing project.

SANDRA ELLEN LEFCOE

Location: Virginia (U.S.A.)

Age: 73

Question:  How long have you been writing?

I have been writing stories in my mind all my life.  I just never put anything on paper.

Question:  What was the name of the first book you ever published, and when was it published?

"Hello Mommy" is my first humorous book, and it was published in June of 2016.

Question:  Was this book published by a publisher; or did you self-publish?

It was self-published.

Question:  Tell our readers about this very first book.  (For example:  What was the inspiration for writing it, and what was it about)?

The birth of my two grandchildren inspired me to write these stories.  The title of my book is "Hello Mommy" and the tagline is humorous stories from the womb.  My book consists of thirteen short, cute stories written from the perspective of the child on the day he or she is born.

Question:  Can a person still buy this book?  If so, where?

Yes, a person can still buy this book.  They can buy it at:

Question:  How many total books have you published?

This is my first humorous book.

Question:  Any future writing projects in the works?  If so, tell us about it, and any pertinent dates to go with it.

Yes, I am almost finished with my second children's book.  I don't know when it will be ready as I am still interviewing artists.

Last question, if someone comes across this article and reads it, what would you like to tell them about why you think they should try reading your book or books? (Basically, what can you offer them in the way of information or entertainment)?

In this very trying world we live in, I think everyone can benefit from a little bit of laughter every day and "Hello Mommy" will make you laugh, giggle, or at least smile.  The other thing I'd like to say is that no matter what your age, it is never too late to pursue your passion.

BLOG WRITER'S NOTE TO AUTHOR: Your book sounds like a really cute and humorous read.  I notice that you only have it published on one platform such as Etsy.  You should check around on fiver.com for someone who can transfer it over to Kindle eBook template format.  This way you'd be able to sell it on Amazon. Amazon also owns a print-on-demand company called "Createspace.com" which they can make it into a paperback.  You can learn about Amazon Kindle and Createspace by going out to youtube.com, there are a lot of people talking about how to publish your book in an eBook, or in a paperback out on this site.  Good luck and thanks for the interview.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Summary:

Two Lives, Two Worlds, One Love…

The Superstar.

What’s a girl to do when she finally meets her knight in shining armor and he’s a born-again Christian? How can they have a romantic moment when he’s more interested in attending Bible study? How can she possibly compete with the God of all creation? This celebrity is falling head over designer heels for a regular guy who has traditional values and refuses to compromise (and she thought waiting to find out if she’d been nominated for a Video Music Award was tough!).

The Average Joe.

What’s a guy to do when he falls for one of People magazine’s
50 Most Beautiful celebs and he happens to be a Christian? How does he ignore the fact that she’s more attracted to the things of the world than the fruit of the Spirit? How does he “just say no” when she wants to get physical? This average guy’s about to discover that sometimes when it comes to matters of the heart (and flesh), staying on the straight and narrow path can be easier said than done.

 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
                                                        Interview

What inspired you to write "Destiny"?

I was walking past my China cabinet which was filled with Barbie dolls and paused to admire one from Mattel’s “Diva” collection (who was striking a fabulous pose!); on another shelf stood a Ken doll proudly dressed like an N.Y.P.D. officer. I thought to myself: how in the world could two people from such different worlds ever meet? And an idea began to formulate in my mind…

Can you explain what your readers can expect to read in "Destiny"?

Destiny is a love story about the two primary characters, of course, but it’s also a story about the love one man has for the God he serves and the things he values and believes in. It’s a story about the age-old challenges of darkness and light and whether or not love can truly conquer all.

Who am I:  Ramona L. Mejia?

I am an avid Barbie doll collector (I own nearly 200 of them), a lover of: 70’s light music, Italian food, Broadway theater, classical ballet and romance novels—especially the historical genre (been reading them since I was a pre-tween).

Who is your favorite character in "Destiny", and why?

Hands down, my favorite character is Chelsea Bryant, Destiny’s personal assistant. When I created her, I envisioned actress Wanda Sykes! She’s feisty and funny and not afraid to stand up to the diva she works for. Plus, she’s got a big heart. Being Destiny’s assistant is more than just a job to Chelsea, she truly cares about the welfare of the family as a whole.

What has writing "Destiny" taught you?

That some things in life truly are preordained; and a mystery, and when something is meant for you, there is a season, an appointed time and place, that the desire of your heart will be fulfilled.

What are your next projects? Where can your readers follow you?

Great question! I am considering writing a sequel to "Destiny", but in the meantime, my readers can follow me on Facebook: Ramona L. Mejia, Author.

BLOG WRITER'S NOTE TO AUTHOR: I am always fascinated with how a person comes up with the ideas for writing a story.  For me, a lot of my stories come from dreams that I have.  I thinks it's amazing that you own 200+ Barbies.  That sounds like you have an amazing collection. Your book, "Destiny" sounds like an interesting read.  I wish you the best with your writing, and thank you for the interview.
