Ryanne Anthony

Location: Chicago, IL - USA

Age (0ptional)Oooooh, no you din’t! Um… I’m >21 but <65 ;)

Question:  How long have you been writing?

About seven years, give or take. Professionally, five.

Question:  What was the name of the first book you ever published, and when was it published?

Broken: Book One of the M Series in June 2013'.

Question:  Was this book published by a publisher; or did you self-publish?

Self-published, and that was on a whim and through encouragement of others, when I finally got the nerve to let someone read it.

Question:  Tell our readers about this very first book.  (For example:  What was the inspiration for writing it, and what was it about)?

Honestly, Broken was not the first written, just the first published. The M Series, Book Two: MARIAH was the first I completed but she made no sense to me, so I decided to write Broken. That inspiration was borne from a scandal I read about that made me angry, so I wrote about it, read it, changed a thing or seventeen then self-published.

Question:  Can a person still buy this book?  If so, where?

Yes! Here are the links:

Question:  How many total books have you published?

     Three, so far.

Question:  List all of your titles -

 and "Falling"

Question:  Any future writing projects in the works?  If so, tell us about it, and any pertinent dates to go with it.

No dates yet, but Broken: Book One of the M Series, is the first of eight. Coming soon is MariahMarcusMadisonMatthewMonica,Major and, the finale: Mended.

Then there is the Negative Ion Series:
Falling *out now*
Despair *Available later this year*
Fell

There is a companion novel that will ‘link’ the M series and the Negative Ion Series, called Effection.
I have more in the works, hopefully I’ll complete those soon.

Question:  What is the title of your current book, and tell us a little about it.

Falling: Book One of the Negative Ion Series is basically about love and a relationship on a time schedule. Jaxen and Kimber have 125 days to be whatever they can be to one another before Kimber moves to the east coast to intern with her father then continue her education and accomplish her dream of being a lawyer and practicing with her father; these plans were made before she met Jaxen and she is now torn between staying with Jaxen and fulfilling this promise made to her father, who wanted more time with his daughter, since he lived in New York and Kimber was in California with her mother.

Jaxen and Kimber love one another but several twists make it almost impossible for them to remain together, despite their need to be.

Last question, if someone comes across this article and reads it, what would you like to tell them about why you think they should try reading your book or books?

When I write, I try to be humorous, serious, and forthcoming. I look to entertain and keep my characters in the way I’ve portrayed them from the beginning. I want you to laugh, cry, yell, scream, drink, threaten and want to toss your reading device when you read my words. If you manage to threaten my brain, well… my work was done correctly and I’ve earned a fan, hopefully.

Anything else you'd like to add that I didn't ask you, but you would like to share with our readers?

I encourage everyone to friend me on Facebook and go straight to my Notes section and read the excerpts and short stories. This is because you will get a feel of who and what my characters are, and hopefully you’ll get a new book boyfriend or two.

Blog Writer's Note to Author: I can tell that you love to write.  It's obvious in all of the books you have published, and what you have planned for in the future.  It also looks like you are a highly inspired type writer.  All of your books sound like amazing stories.  I'll definitely be checking them out.  Good luck with your writing, and thank you for the interview.
